WELCOME TO ECARS

We welcome you to the East Coast Amateur Radio Service web site.

ECARS began operation in 1968 as an Amateur Radio public service net for mobile operators on 7.255 MHz.

You need not be an ECARS member or mobile to check into the nets. We look forward to your checking in on 7.255 MHz.

New Net Hours

on

Saturday

On Saturday January 15, 2010, K1FCS Fred and KJ4BYF Albert started putting the Net into operation at 09:00 EDT.  They will operate in a casual manner and will encourage other members to try their hand at Net Control. So stop by and say hello and if you care to make a call out for stations Fred and Albert will coach you thru it.

If you get bitten by the NCS Bug pass your phone number and email address along to Joe, WY3T, Net Manager
